This educational atlas is an implementation of the ideas of modern geographical science, meets the age characteristics of students of grades 3-4 and generally accepted requirements.
According to the current program, the atlas is structured according to the following sections:

The atlas "Bird Clock", "Flower Clock" and flora and fauna of natural zones of Ukraine complement the atlas.
Each section is divided into separate educational topics, which reflect in detail information about geographical patterns, objects and natural phenomena.
The atlas can be called a textbook, it contains a lot of explanatory information: maps, diagrams, tables, illustrations. Maps, which are an important educational and methodical component of work in a natural science lesson, should be singled out among the content load. Contour maps of the atlas are necessary and interesting, which help to monitor students' knowledge of the studied topics and accustom them to work with contour maps.
Educational methods and techniques with the help of such an atlas will be aimed at achieving the greatest efficiency in the development of the cognitive abilities of schoolchildren, the formation of complex creative and logical thinking, spatial imagination, intuition.
Educational atlas "Natural Science" for grades 3-4 will make the lesson interesting and actually modern. The use of such a manual makes it possible to diversify students' activities in lessons and at home, as well as to perform independent and practical work.
The atlas is updated annually and has positive feedback from teachers.
The atlas has been approved for use in general educational institutions by the commission on pedagogy and methods of primary education of the Scientific and Methodical Council for Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine (letter No. 14.1/12-Г-141 dated 03/24/2015).
