USB flash drive Kingston 32GB IronKey Keypad 200 AES-256 Encrypted Blue USB 3.2 (IKKP200/32GB)
The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 is an OS-agnostic USB flash drive with hardware encryption, featuring an alphanumeric keypad for convenient PIN access.
The KP200 includes XTS-AES 256-bit hardware encryption. It's also FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified (certification pending) for military-grade security with enhancements that further strengthen data protection. The storage circuits are covered with a layer of special epoxy resin, which makes it practically impossible to remove the components without damaging them; this tough epoxy prevents impact on semiconductor components. The drive is designed with protection against unauthorized access, which warns owners about such attempts. It also includes protection against hacking by password guessing and protection against BadUSB type attacks with built-in software with a digital signature. The alphanumeric keyboard is covered with a layer of polymer that protects the keys and hides their use for fingerprint analysis on the keys.
KP200 is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that can be used to unlock the drive without using any software, and then connect it to any device that supports USB Type A storage devices. Thus, users get maximum flexibility within various types of platforms and operating systems.
The Multiple PIN (Admin/User) option allows you to use the keyboard to set an easy-to-remember, but hard-to-guess alphanumeric PIN for an administrator or user. The administrator can restore the user's PIN code and grant access to the drive if the user's PIN code is forgotten or if the drive is locked after reaching the maximum of 10 user login attempts. If Admin and User PINs are enabled, the KP200 will lock the user's PIN after 10 failed login attempts; if the administrator's PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, password protection will perform a cryptographic wipe of the drive, permanently destroy the data, and reset the drive.
The drive also supports two levels of read-only (or write-protected) mode: global mode, which can be set by the administrator, and per-session mode, which can be set by the user. Read-only modes can protect the drive from malware on untrusted systems. Additionally, an administrator can upload content and set the global read-only mode so that the user can access the data but cannot make any changes.
